Candidate Survey

Since 1999, Historic Seattle has engaged candidates running for Seattle City Council through questionnaires focused on key preservation issues. These surveys create a dialogue between candidates, this organization, and voters in our community who care about our historic built environment.

Perennial issues include funding for preservation, budget cuts to preservation staff, and the City's stewardship of its own historic properties. .
