Governance

Members of the community actively participate in guiding Historic Seattle by serving on two volunteer governing bodies, the Historic Seattle Preservation and Development Authority and the Historic Seattle Preservation Foundation Board of Trustees. The Historic Seattle Council sets policies and oversees the organization's financial health, while the Foundation Board raises additional funds to support Historic Seattle's operations. If you are passionate about preservation and would like to be considered for a position on either the Historic Seattle Council or the Foundation Board, please contact Kathleen Brooker, Executive Director.
