Office Volunteer, Sue DeRosa/

For the past several years, Wednesday was the day volunteers helped out in the Dearborn House. I (Luci) was one and the other was Gwen Ballard. In September 2006 I joined the paid-staff at Historic Seattle and in October 2006 Gwen passed away, leaving no volunteers on Wednesday. This dilemma was soon rectified by the addition of a new volunteer, Sue DeRosa, who has earned her own title as Wednesday Angel. Sue quickly filled in and now works each Wednesday from 10am to 2pm helping in Volunteer Services. She is a quick learner who has assisted with many projects and continues to amaze us with her organizational skills. Sue and Luci work closely in our new volunteer offices in the northwest corner of the second floor – an office with windows on four sides. Stop by and visit us sometime.
