Historic Seattle has developed a database catalog highlighting the historic and heritage preservation themed collections of books, periodicals, photographs, reports, etc. that are maintained by organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Historic Preservation Survey and Database Catalog Project

This catalog enables patrons to easily identify the historic preservation resources and collections maintained by organizations such as public libraries, historical associations, colleges and universities, city government and regional archives and museums. It provides a singular access point to the vast historic collections stewarded by numerous organizations throughout the area.

The survey has helped all institutions regardless of size become part of a cooperative community of organizations emphasizing and providing accessibility to the rich historic preservation themed collections in the Pacific Northwest.
